FYP - Trials of Chaos: Final Submission and Project Viva
Hi, Welcome back to my blog. My name is Joshua Mootoo and in todays post i will be talking about my Final Submission and the Project Viva.
Final Submission
It is done the final submission for the whole of my University life is done. its been a rocky path to get here but i did it. for the final submission I’m pleased with the outcome, defiantly need some more work there are a few bugs that i wasn’t able to fix in time for the final submission that i was gutted about the main one was to do with the wave manager where when the enemies died they were deducting from the enemy count too much making it go into the negative which made it so that the enemies were infinitely spawning. as stated in the last post the weapons were another one as well as the dodge. some of the cut content i intend to work on in the future as i would love to release this project as a full game, so this isn’t the last you’ll see of Trials of Chaos.
Project Viva
Overall i think the project viva went well, the lecturers were intrigued with the level generator i created, unfortunately there were quite a few bugs present in the final build. I didn’t have a demo video ready for the meeting but have since created the video. the video is an overview of the games mechanics and features.
Thank you for following me on this journey. this isn’t the last post you’ll see from me.
